Mehmet Bozdağ is a prominent Turkish screenwriter, producer, and director, best known for creating historical drama series. Born in 1983 in Kayseri, Turkey, he graduated with a degree in history and later completed a master\'s in sociology at Sakarya University. Bozdağ founded Bozdağ Film, where he serves as chairman and executive producer, driving projects that bring historical and cultural narratives to television audiences worldwide.

Bozdağ gained widespread acclaim for Diriliş: Ertuğrul (Resurrection: Ertuğrul), which aired from 2014 to 2019. This show, based on the life of Ertuğrul Ghazi, the father of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire, captivated audiences in Turkey and abroad, especially in Pakistan. He later produced Kuruluş: Osman, the sequel to Diriliş: Ertuğrul, which follows the story of Osman I and has been equally successful. Other notable works include Yunus Emre: Aşkın Yolculuğu (The Journey of Love), Mehmetçik Kûtulamâre, and Mendirman Jaloliddin, a series about Jalal al-Din Khwarazmshah, developed in collaboration with Uzbekistan.
